My dear friend and former co-worker, Gwen Ammen, is walking the Phoenix Susan G. Komen 3-Day walk for the Cure 2010.
My Grandmother passed away from breast cancer. This is an important cause for all of us who have been affected by someone we love lost to breast cancer.

Hi Everyone!
THANK YOU all so much for purchasing a chance, or chances, to win one of Merritt’s creations and to help me attain my financial goal toward the 3-Day walk. I have now raised all of the $2,300 needed to actually walk in the event!
This was a wonderful fundraising event and if it weren’t for Merritt, and her willingness to help out with her beautiful glass pieces, I could never have done anything like this. I am very blessed to have the friends that I do who are willing to help out for a very worthy cause. Thank you all – again for participating!
